ようこそ、兵庫・三木へ！

会場となるここブルボンビーンズドームは、男子テニスの国別対抗戦デビスカップ2023が開催されるなど、国内外のトップ選手たちが数々のすばらしいゲームを繰り広げてきました。トッププロからジュニアまで、様々な方たちの練習・育成拠点としても活用されています。

兵庫県では、スポーツのもつ多面的価値を地域の活性化につなげていくため、トップアスリートの育成支援、国際大会や全国レベルの大会招致なども積極的に進めています。ＡＴＰツアーへの登竜門ともいえる国内屈指の国際テニストーナメントである本大会が、ここ兵庫・三木で開催されることを、とてもうれしく思います。ご出場の皆さんのなかから、未来のグランドスラムチャンピオンが輩出されることを願ってやみません。

今年も将来有望な選手たちが集いました。日ごろ鍛えたスピードとテクニック、パワーを存分に披露してください。皆さんの全力プレーは、人々にスポーツの素晴らしさを実感させてくれるとともに、これから世界を目指す若い選手たちの大きな励みとなることでしょう。

兵庫県は、神戸ビーフをはじめとする豊かな“食”、世界遺産登録30年を迎える国宝姫路城など、世界に誇るコンテンツの宝庫です。また、SDGsを実践する地域をパビリオンに見立てた「ひょうごフィールドパビリオン」を県内各地で展開しています。この機会に、兵庫の魅力を感じていただければ幸いです。

最後になりますが、大会運営に尽力された関係の皆様に敬意を表しますとともに、大会のご成功と選手の皆さんのご健闘を心からお祈りしています。

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on the holding of the Hyogo Noah Challenger 2023 tennis tournament, and to welcome all of you who have gathered here in Miki, Hyogo from Japan and around the world.

The Bourbon Beans Dome has hosted the 2023 Davis Cup, a national men’s tournament, and many other great games between the world’s top players. It is also used as a training and development center for many players, from professionals to juniors.

Hyogo Prefecture is proactively promoting the development of top athletes and attracting national and international competitions in order to utilize the multifaceted value of sports for regional revitalization. I am therefore delighted that this tournament, one of the most prestigious international tennis tournaments held in Japan and a gateway to the ATP Tour, is held here in Miki, Hyogo. It is my sincere hope that future Grand Slam winners will emerge from among today’s competitors.

I am excited to have such promising tennis players again this year. I hope that you will demonstrate your speed, technique, and strength that you have honed through daily practice. Your all-out play will make people realize how wonderful sports can be and will encourage young athletes who are aiming for the world.

Hyogo Prefecture is a treasure trove of tourist attractions that bring people from around the globe, including an abundance of gourmet foods, such as Kobe Beef, and the national treasure Himeji Castle, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary as a World Heritage site. We are also promoting the Hyogo Field Pavilion project throughout the prefecture to widely showcase local people’s efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals advocated by the United Nations. I hope that all visitors will take this opportunity to enjoy all that Hyogo has to offer.
